A new month, a new list of games I want to try.
It’s July, its summer, and its time for more casino games fun. And, wow! The start of July certainly is turning out to be a hot one in Ontario! So far with day highs hitting in the late 20s and early 30s – not counting the humidex factor – I can admit I’ve been spending more time indoors.
Ah well, more time indoors means I get to play more casino games! 😜
Since I enjoyed my experiment of picking five casino games I wanted to play and then writing about my favourite of the bunch for June, I decided I liked it enough to do it again in July. With that said, here’s a look at the games I’m keen to play this month.
The Top 5 Casino Games I Want to Play in July
Sweet Alchemy 🍬🧙🎰
Play’n GO (release date: March 2018)
This game has been on my radar for a while, due to its magic/anime theme. To be honest, I’m not expecting anything out-of-this-world amazing from Sweet Alchemy. Essentially, I’m curious to see how it holds up to other cascading win grid games I’ve played from Play’n GO. I’m also curious to see how quickly I’ll be able to trigger a win multiplier, free spins, or the bonus game. Even if it turns out not to be my favourite, I’m hoping I like Sweet Alchemy because there’s a sequel to this game and it would be neat to compare the experiences.
Thor Trials of Asgard ⚡🎰
GVG (release date: March 2020)
Okay, so technically I’ve already played this one because it was the game that I got to play with my welcome free spins bonus. However, I’m not counting this experience as my first impression of the game, mostly because beyond using the free spins, I didn’t continue playing it. Also, as you might remember, when I wrote about my first welcome bonus experience, I wasn’t overly enthused! 😂 I don’t think this was because of the game itself, though. So, I’m eager to give it another try, especially since it’s a Norse mythology themed slot, has 243 ways to win that can expand to 1,024 ways to win, and a free spins feature with multipliers.
Big Bass Amazon Xtreme 🎣🎰
Pragmatic Play (release date: June 2023)
I’ve played Big Bass Bonanza before and it was a lot of fun, so I want to see how this latest addition in the casino games series measures up to the overall experience. Apparently, this version of the fishing-themed slot has special modifiers in the free spins round and other opportunities for creating wins compared to the original game, as well as chances to win random money prizes in the base game. Sounds good to me! I’m ready to cast my line for the chance to reel in some random money prizes.
Beast Below 🦑🎰
Hacksaw Gaming (release date: June 2023)
Aside from it being a new release, one of the main reasons that I want to play this game is the software provider. I’ve never played casino games from Hacksaw Gaming before and I’m curious to see what kind of slot experience they offer, since most companies tend to have a certain slot design and style. Beast Below also appears to have a dark and mysterious theme (which I like), as well as fun features like expanding symbols, stacked wilds, multipliers, and free spins bonus features.
Curse of the Werewolf Megaways 🐺🎰
Pragmatic Play (release date: August 2020)
One of the reasons I want to play this one is because I’m on a bit of a werewolf high at the moment. I’ve been playing The Quarry video game from Supermassive Games and am having a lot of fun with it. Yeah, I know these two games couldn’t be more opposite – One is a video game with an 80’s horror movie theme, and the other is a video slot designed as a cartoon fairytale. Still, with super spins, guaranteed win spins, free spins, a max win of over 40,000x your bet, and 46,656 ways to win, I’m curious to see how the Curse of the Werewolf Megaways thrill level compares.😂
Are there casino games you’re looking forward to playing this month?
As always, I want to know, what about you? Are there any casino games you’re excited to try this month or maybe that you’re excited to play again? Please share your thoughts below or let me know on social media.
